You only use [[wild blow] for stance removal or just after you activated flail. If you are hitting multiple foes with your sycthe thats just 2 attacks for 6 adren so [[flail] will be almost instantly recharged.

Tbh I found I didn't need SY all that much. I ran a test vanquish yesterday and I found myself overaggroing on purpose for more challenge

. Stuff blows up quicker with this then a DSlash (especially with Splinter Weapon), so the fights are shorter and thus the monsters have less time to deal damage to your party. SY is just there if and when you need it (ruby djinn are a pain). You won't have SY up as much as a DSlash, but the scythe war isn't meant to be able to do that.
